The Warkari tradition resonates deeply with Suryadatta National School’s principles of self-realization, ethical living and the pursuit of spiritual truth. It is something beyond the regular ritual code.
As a part of Community Service, today, the students of Std. VII, VIII and IX used the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi to take the initiative to clean the ’Warkari Monuments’ at Vardayani Chowk in Bavdhan, Pune that is dedicated to the commitment of the Warkaris. The aim was to preserve the rich culture of Maharashtra and to spread the social messages of the 700 year old warkari Sampraday.
Suryadatta National school is a progressive school that routinely conducts various Edu-socio events and activities that are student-initiated and student-driven.
